I recently visited Junoon NYC, a beautiful modern Indian restaurant in the Flatiron District. My partner loves Indian food, and since it was his birthday weekend, I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate.
I was impressed with the decor and feel of the restaurant. Right when you walk in, there's a beautiful bar that will make you want to stop and take a few pictures or more. You'll also be enticed to try a few drinks, such as the Cucumber Collins (add gin) or the Forevermore Spritz.
What I liked most about Junoon was that it was a wonderful experience for someone like myself who hasn't had much experience with Indian food in recent years. I would definitely go again.
From the 3-course Prestige Menu, which is currently $95 per person, I suggest the Smoked Masala Ribs appetizer and the Lamb Chops entree, and even though Kulfi pops are all over TikTok as a popular dessert option, I enjoyed Ma's Rice Pudding.
